Dry Creek Turquoise Pendant By Thomas Francisco
This beautiful handmade sterling silver pendant is made and signed by Navajo artist Thomas Francisco. It features a Dry Creek Turquoise gemstone (mined in Nevada) that is a very light blue shade with tanish-brown matrix. The stone is set in a smooth bezel housing surrounded by hand-saw cut design edges. The pendant measures 1.78" long (measured with the bail) and 1.12" wide.
Dry Creek turquoise is "beyond rare". Not only is it the palest turquoise in the world, but its rarity is increased due to the mine being closed so there is little to work into jewelry.
