The Sunnyside mine was mined mostly in the 70's. You won't find much of this great turquoise around anymore except for old stashes.

It features an incredible piece of Tiffany Stone that shows shades of dark purple, lavendar and creamy white. Also known as bertrandite or opal flourite. The stone comes from a mine in Utah where the rocks are harvested for their beryllium content, used in missile nose cones. The mine is closed to outsiders and most of the rocks go straight to the crushers, making it very rare and valuable. The stones have a wide range of color including purples, pinks, oranges, yellows, reds and whites. The pendant measures 1.10" long (measured without the bail) and 0.77" wide. It has a large bail that measures 0.47" long.

This handmade sterling silver Zuni cross is made by native american artist Cecilia Iule. It has Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones. The cross measures 1.37" long (measures with bail) and 0.96" wide at the widest part. Cecilia is the daughter of the late Horace Iule (1901-1978) who was well known for his crosses. Horace worked with his wife Lupe Iule, who was from San Felipe Pueblo. They were married in 1933, and had six children: Ruby, Lupe, Cecilia, Robert, Barney, and Phillip. Cecilia continues in her fathers tradition with the crosses.
